So I have read a few more books since my last post.  Here they are…..

Shift by Rachel Vincent

This is one of my FAVORITE series.  I just wish she were able to crank them out faster.

Carpe Corpus by Rachel Caine

Another installment in the Morganville Vamps series.  This is a “YA” series, but still really good.

Elvis & the Dearly Departed by Peggy Wood

This is the first in a cozy mystery series involving a hairdresser that not only works in a salon, but also does hair for her families funeral home.  And one can’t forget that she has her faithful companion, Elvis, who just happens to be the King reincarnated as a Basset Hound.  Pretty good starter book.  I am planning to look for others in the series.

Raising the Stakes by Wendy Etherington  &  Crossing the Line by Jean Brashear

These are both part of the Harlequin NASCAR series.  They were both good & the story has unfolded as I expected.  I really like the fact that although these are your typical romances where boy meets girl & then boy gets girl, there is so much more to them.  They follow the fictional families of NASCAR & so each book is inter-related while still a stand alone.  I have enjoyed following along & seeing what happens to them all.  Can’t tell if there are more to come or if they are going to change over to something new, but whatever happens I will keep reading.
